Dry granulation is transforming the powder to granules via compacting (to flake), breaking, granulating and sifting, the powder needs to be less than 10% moisture content. After compaction, density of raw material could be 1.5-3times heavier with certain strength.
products Principle
The raw material is fed from top of granulator, after degas, forced feeder transport the raw material into feeding port of two compactors, two compactors rotate at the same speed in opposite directions, raw material is forced compacted to flake shape by high pressure, and will drop out of compactors by it’s gravity. The flake product then enter breaker and granulator to get dispersed and then enter sifter to get classified. Qualified granule product is transferred to storage silo or directly get packed, unqualified product is re-cycled back to forced feeder to get compacted again. Compacting pressure is generated by hydraulic pressure system, and it is available to be adjusted. There are several kinds of product shape are available for choice by replacing compacting roller surface, such as flake shape, irregular shape, strip shape, olive shape and oblate spheroid shape
